Throughout the year, these groups sponsor an array of extra and co-curricular activities that not only enhance the campus experience but also extend their reach to the local community. By participating in RSOs, students can develop and refine essential leadership skills, fostering personal growth and professional development. Furthermore, these organizations create a platform for students to interact and network with peers, faculty, and staff, forming meaningful relationships that often last a lifetime. Travel must be registered when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&nbsp;Funded by the university&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In a university-owned, leased, or rented vehicle&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organized and\/or sponsored by a Tarleton student organization&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Organized and\/or sponsored by a&nbsp;university employee and\/or under the scope, direction, or election of a college, department, university office, learning community, Global Initiatives and Services program, etc.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to compliance with relevant laws and regulations, students must follow Tarleton&#8217;s Rule 13.04.99.T1, Student Travel, and pertinent university procedures. Prior to the trip, develop a detailed itinerary and prepare Tarleton release forms for participants. Examples of trips requiring registration include class field trips, student organization activities, and academic course-related travels.
