Academic Program Stimulation Functional Team
The primary function of the program mix team is to provide support for existing academic programs and for the development of new academic programs at all campuses and academic units.
- Support is given to align academic program offerings within the university's environment with the goal of promoting sustainability, growth, and excellence.
- Market demand, institutional strengths, and competition of academic programs are reviewed to provide data for strategic planning and informed decision-making.
- Recommendations are made to SEMEC on academic program matters within the context of the university's mission and goals.
- Efforts of this sub-committee are advisory, informative and without intent to replace or add to the existing program approval structure of the university.
