Alpha Phi Omega Alumni Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to a full-time student in good standing with the university that is an active member of Xi Omicron Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and exemplify the three cardinal principles of Alpha Phi Omega: friendship, leadership and services.

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to a student who has experience assisting in the field of collegiate strength and conditioning and has been granted admission to the Tarleton graduate program.

Audie & Zera Floyd Educational Trust Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to students that graduated from or attended De Leon High School for at least one year, or those who are currently employed in the De Leon ISD. Scholarships may be renewed for five years. There are no restrictions based on student type or attending hours. Recipients must be admitted to and/or in good standing at the University.

Bea Marin Veterans Nursing Scholarship

Ben and Nellie Baty Endowed Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be awarded to a U.S. citizen majoring in the College of Business Administration. The recipient must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate strong academic performance. The recipient shall show leadership qualities, including participation in student activities and/or part-time employment, actively working to financially supplement their education in order to pursue his or her collegiate studies. Preference should be given first to ROTC students meeting the above criteria, then to other eligible students meeting required criteria.

Bob Hallmark Graduate Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to outstanding graduate students who are enrolled at least three-quarter time (6 hrs.). Recipients must have a 3.25 undergraduate GPA for first-time graduate students or a 3.5 GPA for returning graduate students. One scholarship will be awarded per academic college.

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to outstanding doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate students at Tarleton State University. Recipients must maintain a 3.00 overall GPA and maintain full-time student status. Incoming freshmen must have a 23 or higher ACT or a 1000 or higher SAT/1080 or higher New SAT (math and verbal) and typically top quarter ranking.

De Leon Ex-Students Association Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to graduates of De Leon High School demonstrating reasonable financial need (based on committee determination). Recipients must enroll as full-time students at Tarleton State University. Established in October 1994 by Mr. John Caraway of Stephenville to benefit deserving students from DeLeon, Texas.

Dick Smith Graduate Scholarship

Amount:	$3,000 per year

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to students majoring in graduate programs in the College of Science and Technology or the College of Liberal and Fine Arts. New graduate students must have a 3.2 undergraduate GPA for consideration. Returning graduate students must have a 3.5 graduate GPA. All recipients must enroll in at least six hours of graduate work per semester.

Donald W. & Dahlee Morton Endowed Piano Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to full-time students with a declared piano major after a successful piano audition. Recipients must remain enrolled in applied piano lessons, and be enrolled and making satisfactory progress in piano ensemble. Recipients must also maintain a 3.0 GPA in all music courses taken and a 2.8 overall GPA. The recipient must be active in appropriate department performance opportunities, and will be expected to maintain an exemplary attendance and participation record in music classes and music major requirements.

Dr. Dennis P. McCabe Student Endowment Scholarship

Amount:	$500 per semester or $1,000 field experience semester

Criteria:	This scholarship is given to students for achievement in the classroom, leadership on campus, financial need, and field experience. To apply for this scholarship, students must have completed 12 hours at TSU. Recipients must be full-time students and have a 2.40 GPA for the leadership, need-based and field experience options. Recipients must be full-time students and have a 3.0 GPA for the scholastic option. Recipients in the need-based option must show financial need but not be eligible for the PELL grant.

Dr. Marie Meisel Cedars Scholarship

Criteria:	This scholarship is given to students based on art performance, academic merit and leadership skills. Established in 2001 by the friends and family of Dr. Cedars. Dr. Cedars was a member of the faculty at Tarleton for many years as a French instructor and was an accomplished artist. Dr. Cedars' group of twelve paintings based on the book "6 Day of Destruction" by Elie Wiesel, an Auschwitz survivor, and Rabbi Albert H. Friedlander, who fled Germany in 1939, has been displayed in New York galleries and many other major cities across the United States. The collection features images from Biblical account of creation and Holocaust individual tragedies.

Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to a full-time, physically disabled student who demonstrates financial need, leadership abilities in school and in the community, good moral character, and is a resident of Texas. Criteria:	This scholarship will be given to a female rodeo athlete eligible to compete for the Tarleton State University Rodeo Team. The recipient must have a 2.6 GPA.
