Gordon Center sponsors turfgrass management talk

STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Dr. Hennen Cummings, associate professor and director of the Turfgrass Management Program at Tarleton, will present a program on the art of growing healthy turf grass at the W.K. Gordon Center at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 14. The program is free and open to the public.

Cummings will talk about proper lawn care and answer questions on turf grass maintenance, including how to handle lawns in drought conditions.

The W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas is a museum and research facility of Tarleton State University. It is located at Exit 367 on Interstate 20 between Fort Worth and Abilene.
