STEPHENVILLE, Texas—The 8th Annual Tarleton State University Film Festival returns on Thursday, April 25. The festival will offer screenings of short films written by, shot, acted in and directed by Tarleton students.

This year’s competition has between 10 and 15 submissions. The films, usually two to 10 minutes in length, will compete for one grand prize. A few titles include Vampires 101, God Lives in My City, Me Without You and The Hunt.

The festival is free and begins at 7 p.m. in Room 118 of the O.A. Grant Humanities Building. It will end at 8 p.m.

Judging the competition will be past winners and communication studies students.

“This year, like the rest, I’m especially looking for creativity and visual storytelling,” said Dr. Robert Anderson, the film students’ adviser.
