Tarleton to participate in United Way's Learn Well education program
Lunch and Panel Presentation

FORT WORTH, Texas—Tarleton State University faculty will participate in the United Way of Tarrant County’s Learn Well luncheon and panel presentation on Thursday, April 13.

Dr. Rebecca Putman, assistant professor of Curriculum and Instruction at Tarleton-Fort Worth, will join area educational leaders to discuss the role of technology in early literacy. Dr. Anthony Edwards, director of Tarleton’s Global Campus, will moderate.

The luncheon and panel presentation take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Action Room A at Tarrant County College’s Trinity River Campus in downtown Fort Worth. Tickets are free, but reservations are required.

Learn Well is a volunteer council of educators and parents dedicated to ensuring that 8,000 students at risk of dropping out of school will be on path by 2020 to graduate on time.
