President’s Guaranteed Scholarship Program – Freshman<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The President\u2019s Guaranteed Scholarship Program aligns with the 120-year vision of Tarleton\u2019s founder and benefactor to provide a high-quality university education to students who otherwise might not have the chance. Tarleton State University will guarantee scholarship levels to entering first-time freshmen who graduate in the top half of their high school class.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Program Requirements for Freshman<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to be considered for the President’s Guaranteed Scholarship program you must complete your General Scholarships Application<\/a>. Awards will be divided between fall and spring semesters based on full-time enrollment and be renewable \u200bfor up to 4 years with satisfactory academic progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students graduating in the top 50% of their high school class will be guaranteed at an annual level between $500 and $4,000 as indicated in the table below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Students graduating in the top 50% of their class from one of Tarleton’s Distinguished High School Partners<\/a> will be guaranteed at an annual level between $1,000 and $5,000 depending on class rank and test scores. The partnership program formalizes the commitment that Tarleton shares with area high schools to help students earn a university degree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

*Only students in the top 25% of their class may qualify for an out-of-state tuition waiver<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
