Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of University Compliance is to promote a culture of ethics and compliance in the daily university activities and operations in accordance with the requirements of The Texas A&M University System policies and regulations, university rules and procedures, and state and federal laws and regulations.

Compliance Help and Reporting

Each member of the Tarleton community has responsibility for workplace integrity and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This includes understanding the right thing to do, making inquiries if you are uncertain, and reporting risks and/or concerns that come to your attention. Options for seeking guidance and/or reporting concerns:

  • Contact your department head through the appropriate channels.
  • Contact an outside department with specialized expertise. [See Subject Matter Expert list under the "Reports & Resources" tab]
  • Contact Compliance Help and Reporting to obtain information about the correct action associated with an ethics or compliance question or to report a concern. Concerns can be submitted anonymously. Submit your questions or concerns via the link Risk and Compliance Help and Reporting, or call the Compliance Office at 254-968-9415.
  • Submit ethics and compliance concerns and report suspected fraud, waste, and abuse via the A&M System Risk, Fraud & Misconduct Hotline website Ethics Point or by calling 888-501-3850.
  • Report issues involving fraud, waste and abuse to the Texas State Auditor’s Office by calling 1-800-TX-AUDIT (1-800-892-8348) or submitting a written report as indicated by the Texas State Auditor’s website
