Reserve Officer Training Corps <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Reserve Officers\u2019 Training Corps (ROTC) is a college-based program designed to develop future military leaders while allowing students to earn a degree. It provides hands-on leadership training, physical fitness preparation, and military instruction, all while students continue their college education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At its core, ROTC is about leadership\u2014preparing students to lead in high-pressure environments, think critically, and make strategic decisions. Whether through classroom instruction, field exercises, or physical training, cadets develop skills that apply both in military service and civilian careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ROTC programs exist for the Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps, with each branch offering unique training tailored to their specific missions. Cadets in ROTC experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leadership Development<\/summary>\n

Learning how to lead small and large teams through hands-on experiences and training exercises.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest advantages of ROTC is that it allows students to train for a military career without delaying their education. Upon graduation, ROTC cadets commission as officers in their respective branches, serving in various leadership roles in active duty, the National Guard, or the Reserves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Force ROTC<\/summary>\n

Available through a Crosstown Agreement with Texas Christian University (TCU) Detachment 845, allowing students to train for careers in the U.S. Air Force and Space Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
