Tarleton-sponsored travel is limited to mission-critical functions and requires review and support by the respective vice president or designee. Students and employees who travel and suspect they are exposed to COVID-19 will be required to contact the appropriate university offices.

No Tarleton-sponsored study aboard opportunities are planned for 2020-21, which includes next summer. The university continues to monitor the global impact of COVID-19 and will provide information on study abroad programming beyond the current academic year as it becomes available.
In accordance with CDC guidelines, all students, faculty and staff must quarantine for 14 days before returning to campus following any international travel or a cruise. International business travel by Tarleton employees is discouraged and is approved on a case-by-case basis.
Travel Outside Texas
Individuals considering travel outside the state but within the U.S. will review the CDC COVID-19 Data Tracker to know restrictions for their destination and any areas they will travel through. Students and employees engaged in university or personal travel who suspect they have been in close contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive are required to quarantine for 14 days in accordance with current CDC guidance.
Travel in Texas
Tarleton students and employees traveling within the state will review the Texas State Health Services Dashboard prior to their trip and review restrictions.
