About HEERF Funds and Applying for the Funding
The federal government has allocated funds specifically for students with the passing of three bills (CARES, CRRSA, and the last bill ARPA) collectively called HEERF (Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund) which are related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The HEERF Grant Application is closed. All HEERF funds allocated to Tarleton State University have been distributed to students.
Technology and Security Tips
Cybersecurity is essential as more students operate remotely in the time of COVID-19. Distance learning comes with the added responsibility of taking steps to protect the learn-from-home environment.
Health and Safety
Tarleton is committed to providing physical and mental healthcare services for all students. Dedicated professionals deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to ensure student success and well-being.
The university is making every effort to ensure student safety and well-being. All rooms and apartments have been thoroughly sanitized along with common spaces such as study and meeting rooms, laundries and lobbies.
Dealing with Stress
It is always important to recognize what stress looks like, take steps to build resilience and know where to go for help. Professional counseling can ease the pressure in these unsettling times.
