Notifications include students who have checked in for appointments, unread emails in Navigate360, and minimized advising reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>term selection<\/strong>&nbsp;allows users to view information in the current term. This also allows the user to toggle between previous and future terms.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is the\u00a0<strong>Quick Search<\/strong>. The user can search by First &amp; Last name, UIN, or TSU email. When given access, Navigate360 will read your Outlook calendar as free\/busy.&nbsp;<br>For full calendar syncing instructions &#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/studentsuccess.tamu.edu\/_files\/_documents\/edited-calendar-sync.pdf\">click here<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Is the synching between Outlook instantaneous if an appointment is added to my calendar?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yes. However, not always. The way it should work is anytime the user makes an adjustment in Outlook or Navigate, it will automatically sync. If the user doesn&#8217;t adjust anything, it will refresh every 30-35 minutes. For a user&#8217;s first sync ever, that can take up to 10 minutes to full load all calendar events. Also, if items don&#8217;t seem to sync you can check for error in the Calendar tab. If you are in error, please email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:navigate@tarleton.edu\">navigate@tarleton.edu<\/a>\u00a0to request a reset.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why won&#8217;t certain events sync on my calendar?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There are several reasons why events do not sync on your Navigate calendar. First, a recurring event with no end-date will not sync in Navigate. To do this, advisors and staff need to create availability at a specific location with specific appointment reasons. To set availability:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol id=\"isPasted\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the &#8220;My Availability&#8221; tab under &#8220;Staff Home.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;Actions&#8221; then to create new availability select &#8220;Add Time&#8221; or to duplicate existing availability select &#8220;Copy Time.&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow the prompts to choose the day(s), hours, appointment type, location and service types you provide.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We suggest setting separate availability for Appointments and Drop-Ins.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please use either &#8220;Range of Dates&#8221; or &#8220;Forever&#8221; when setting a duration.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Optional Availability Additions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal Availability Link (PAL) can be added in your appointment availability. The link will not change and is unique to each user. You can include this link on your website, emails or wherever you market advising appointments. This link takes student directly to the &#8220;New Appointment&#8221; page in the student scheduler.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After you save your availability, your link will populate at the bottom of your page. It will look like the image below.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add personal Zoom Room link or phone number in the URL box.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add additional information in the details box at the bottom of the pop up. These are detailed templates with fields of information to guide you as you record your appointment.
