Oghale Okuda, a Tarleton State graduate student, has been hired as a full-time Data Analyst at the Texas General Land Office-Community Development and Revitalization (GLO-CDR). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Okuda was one of four Tarleton students chosen for the GLO internship program, which includes the University of Texas and Texas A&M University. This unique opportunity offers hands-on experience in areas such as data services, policy development, and environmental services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During her internship with GLO, Oghale excelled with the data services team, developing a groundbreaking model using Python NLP. This model streamlined data organization for GLO’s disaster recovery programs, earning her recognition for her innovative contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her passion and adaptability were evident to GLO colleagues, leading to her well-deserved full-time position offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
