Withdrawing from the university means dropping to 0 credit hours in a semester. Students must fill out an Official Withdrawal form through myGateway<\/a> by accessing Ducktrax and selecting the Withdrawal (Drop ALL courses)<\/strong> option under Registration. If students are intending to withdraw from both Summer and Fall semesters, a withdrawal form will need to be submitted for each. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students are not automatically withdrawn from the university if they do not attend class. Students may be financially and academically impacted if they do not properly withdraw from the university.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be sure to fill out the form entirely by checking all acknowledgements, electronically signing, and clicking “submit”<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Log into myGateway using your NTNET credentials<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Select the New DuckTrax Menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Under Registration, select Withdrawal *Drop all courses*<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Fill out the Withdrawal form <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Submit<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Student withdraws BEFORE the first day of the semester<\/td>All tuition fees will be reimbursed to the student, no impact on Official Transcript<\/td><\/tr>
    Student withdraws on or before the withdrawal deadline<\/td>If submitted before the Official Census Date, no record of withdrawal on Official Transcript. If submitted after the Official Census Date, the student receives a grade of W in all courses on Official Transcript. Fees subject to the Withdraw Refund Schedule<\/a><\/td><\/tr>
    Withdrawing after the deadline<\/td>Receives a grade of WF (withdraw failing) which is equivalent to an “F” grade on Official Transcript. A student may appeal to the instructor for a grade change to W if he\/she was passing at the time of withdrawal<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    1. A student who fails to withdraw officially will receive a grade of F in all courses in progress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In cases where the student is unable to contact our office him\/herself because of medical reasons or other emergency situations, a spouse or family member can contact the Dean of Students<\/a> for assistance with available options.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Refer to the census chart below to for drop and withdrawal deadlines and the Academic Calendar<\/a> for official withdraw dates and deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Students have the option to discuss potential resources with University personnel through the withdrawal form. To discuss resources, select “Yes” on the form and a designated staff member will be happy to assist!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Students enrolled in multiple parts of term who would like to withdraw, may do so for any part of term for which the withdrawal deadline has not passed.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
