The Rural Communication Institute has received two grants to provide vaccination education and outreach for six counties in the North East Texas area. The objective is to help provide vaccination opportunities and outreach\/education activities aimed at increasing the number of fully vaccinated people in Texas.\u00a0The counties served through these grants include the following counties: Anderson, Cherokee, Harrison, Henderson, Panola, and Shelby.\u00a0 The Rural Communication Institute received funding from the Hogg Foundation to provide Census information for North East Texas. The project received statewide and nationwide coverage for their outreach efforts.
