Step 3 - Transition Week

New Students

Transition Week begins with Move-In and continues through the first day of class. T-Week is intended to help students with a successful transition into the academic and campus community here at Tarleton. This week is mandatory for all new incoming freshmen and students with less than 12 credit hours (regardless of how many dual-credit hours you have).

During Transition Week, students will have the opportunity to:

  • Acclimate to campus and learn about resources
  • Bond with the incoming class or 2022
  • Learn about ways to get involved on campus
  • Attend a variety of fun, evening activities
  • Connect with faculty and staff

and so much more!

Transition Week 2018 will take place August 17-26.

Commuter and Transfer Students

You may not live on campus, but this week will prove invaluable in helping you get acclimated to the campus culture at Tarleton. You will network with your fellow classmates, faculty and staff, make lifelong friendships, discover the tools for academic achievement, get plugged in to Tarleton organizations and experience what it means to Bleed Purple! Transfer and commuter students with less than 12 hours are required to attend Transition Week (regardless of how many dual-credit hours you have).
