Policies & Procedures
Tarleton State University policies governing research are in accord with policies established by the Texas A&M University System. Students and faculty conducting research must abide by a number of policies from the university level to the federal.
Tarleton's Sponsored Projects Administration Procedures handbook provides researchers with guidance on the steps involved in the submission and administration of sponsored projects. The Sponsored Projects Administrative Roles and Responsibilities Matrix also offers information for faculty. Tarleton utilizes Maestro for internal routing of grants; faculty need to submit a Maestro Security Role Access Update form if there is a change in their position with the university. In situations where a Sponsor limits either the number of applications from an institution or the number of awards for an institution, please review the Limited Submission Review and Selection Process and Limited Acceptance Review and Selection Process for Tarleton's procedures.
