Courses at Tarleton are delivered through Canvas. Canvas is a state-of-the-art online education platform that allows you to submit assignments, check grades, communicate with instructors, and follow up on course schedules.

Professional completion degrees at Tarleton recognize your existing knowledge through professional training, certifications, and technical coursework. Whether your career started with military specialization, a technical program, career training, or professional certification, Tarleton recognizes that higher education happens outside the classroom. These types of training can account for credit hours within these degree programs. The hours and types of training will be evaluated to determine the number of college credits earned. Our programs will equip students with the necessary skills for academic advancement and success in today’s competitive workplace.

Macky Bradley2014 Alumnus, Management & Leadership For me, the path to Tarleton State was a long one. After a very successful career in the Automobile Industry, I decided I wanted something better for my family. The path to this included getting a college education.
I researched every major university –the pay for your degree schools like Phoenix, Strayer, etc., and all the major ones like USC, Villanova, etc. The thing that stood out about Tarleton is that this is a school that cares about one thing – You (and your success!). Whenever I had a question about anything at Tarleton, I received a call immediately from a staff member – they answered every question.
At Tarleton, you become a family member long before you enroll – everyone has your very best interest at heart. Going to a school with a high emphasis on values, integrity, and honesty was a real no brainer. Tarleton State University was and is the only school for me!
At the moment, I am working for EPICOR Software Corporation and working on getting my Master of Science degree in Management & Leadership. My post graduate plans are wide open. While I am blessed to be employed, I am going to be looking to move up and do something where I can help and give back.
