FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University Fort Worth and the Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership cut the ribbon on a new Innovation Lab Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the Tarrant County College Trinity River Campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Powered by Tarleton State Pathways to Careers (P2C), T3 Partnership\u2019s technology-enabled advising platform that supports students as they make critical decisions about education and careers, the Innovation Lab will provide a space for the continued development of the digital workforce platform designed to connect local students and families with high-growth career opportunities. Users can explore career pathways, build in-demand skills and navigate programs such as Career and Technical Education (CTE), Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH) and Early College High School (ECHS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The launch marks an exciting milestone in expanding workforce development opportunities across Tarrant County. The lab will provide a dedicated environment for collaborative problem-solving, ideation, testing and iterative development. T3 staff and partners will use the space to refine P2C, strengthen advising strategies and student-facing services, analyze data and feedback, convene cross-sector partners and develop solutions that can be implemented across participating schools and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tarleton State President Dr. James Hurley, Vice President of External Operations and Dean of Tarleton State Fort Worth Dr. Rachael Capua, T3 Partnership President and CEO Dr. David Saenz and Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker together praised the importance of partnerships between education, industry and the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work conducted in the lab will support the development and continuous improvement of T3\u2019s advising model, P2C platform, family engagement strategies, postsecondary pathways, college success efforts and workforce initiatives. By bringing education, industry and community partners together around shared challenges, data and solutions, the lab will help expand meaningful pathways for student success and strengthen services across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partnership enables Tarleton State to engage in the development of regional pathways, contribute institutional expertise, deepen relationships with K-12 and workforce partners, and participate in strategies designed to improve postsecondary and career outcomes for North Texas students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tarleton State\u2019s support of the P2C platform also enables T3 to develop the new Explore Majors Feature, which will expand students\u2019 ability to explore postsecondary opportunities and make informed decisions about their education after high school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
