Field won the bareback event with a two-head 164.5-point total featuring an 85.5 score in the finals after a first round 79. Teammate Taylon Carmody\u2019s 160.5 on rides of 74.5 and 86 was second, Weston Chandler took third with an 83 and a 75.5 for 158.5 on two, and Devon Moore was fourth with a combined 157.5 on scores of 76.5 and 81.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clay Greenslade finished sixth with a 153.5 on rides of 74 and 79.5, and Jace Lomheim scored a long go 68 and a 79.5 in the finals for a 147.5, good for seventh in the average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharon captured top honors at Pecos with a 166.5 on scores of 83.6 and 83, leading five Tarleton State saddle bronc riders in the top seven in the event. Cooper Lane\u2019s third-place 155 came on scores of 73 and 82, Colton Lewis scored a two-head 152.5 on rides of 75 and 77.5 points for fifth, Greenslade was sixth with his 70 in the preliminary round and 79.5 in the short go for a 149.5 total, and Montgomery Parsons\u2019 145.5, including a long-go 75 and a 70.5 in the finals, was seventh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bull rider Zane Monnett turned in a 73 in the long go to take fourth in the event. Staley earned the tie-down roping title at Pecos with times of 8.5 and 9.2 seconds for a two-run 17.7. Lucca Alvarenga finished sixth with a 28.4 total on runs of 12.9 and 15.5 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Second place went to Tarleton State team ropers John Peterson and Cole Wilson who flashed a first round 5.7 and added a 7.3 in the short go-round for a 13 in the average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kreece Dearing took fourth-place honors in steer wrestling with a two-head time of 13.1, featuring runs of 7.4 and 5.7 seconds, while Dalton Porch took fifth on times of 6.3 and 11.4 seconds for a 17.7 on two head.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tarleton State women\u2019s team accumulated 120 points, led by Addison Kinser\u2019s first in breakaway roping and Patton Lynch\u2019s top finish in barrel racing, for fourth over the weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kinser posted twin 3.1s for a two-run 6.2 clocking, followed by teammate Cidney Estes in second with a 7.6 tally on times of 3.3 and 4.3, and third place Jenna Fulton\u2019s 8-second total on times of 3.3 and 4.7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lynch turned in the top time in the barrel racing long go-round, 17.85 seconds, and added the quickest time in the finals, 17.39, for first place overall. Lindsey-Kay Reichert was seventh, posting times of 17.97 and 18.32 seconds for a 36.29 in the average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rylee Abel was runner-up in goat tying with times of 8.0 and 7.3 seconds for a 15.3 total.
