Tarleton State University\u00a0celebrated a roster of\u00a0honorees during its annual\u00a0Leadership\u00a0and\u00a0Service\u00a0Awards\u00a0Dinner and Ceremony\u00a0tonight at the\u00a0Barry B. Thompson Student Center.\u00a0Acknowledging\u00a0individual and group achievement,\u00a0the\u00a0awards\u00a0recognize\u00a0outstanding contributions to\u00a0the thriving\u00a0institution and surrounding communities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The evening\u2019s presenters, including Tarleton State President Dr. James Hurley, championed each recipient\u2019s dedication to and modeling of the university\u2019s core values of Excellence, Integrity, and Respect. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese awards celebrate individuals and groups who embody leadership, service and Tarleton State University\u2019s core values,\u201d said Dr. Geoffrey Johnston, Director of Campus Life. \u201cHonorees range from freshmen to graduate students and non-traditional learners, while exceptional programs, student organizations, advisors and community partners are also recognized for their contributions to creating a vibrant and service-oriented campus community.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
