Tarleton State University and the Blinn College District recently renewed their Distinguished College Partnership, through which Tarleton State will continue to provide annual scholarships from $500 to $2,500 to Blinn transfer students with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Awards are divided between fall and spring semesters based on enrollment and are renewable up to three years with satisfactory academic progress. Application fees are waived for those with demonstrated need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The multimillion-dollar investment aligns with Tarleton State\u2019s focus on providing high-quality, affordable education to anyone seeking a university degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarleton State and Blinn also are partners in the RELLIS Academic Alliance. Students begin studies at Blinn\u2019s facilities at RELLIS, then continue their education on-site with leading universities throughout The Texas A&M System. Tarleton State\u2019s College of Education, Division of Health Sciences, College of Liberal and Fine Arts, and the Mayfield College of Engineering are committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities for students and working professionals in the Brazos Valley area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Approved degree completion program offerings at Texas A&M-RELLIS include Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees in Criminal Justice, Civil Engineering, Elementary Teacher Education, General Studies, Kinesiology \u2013 Exercise & Sports Studies Concentration, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Sport Management, and a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW). The two Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (BAAS) degrees offered at the RELLIS campus include Criminal Justice Administration and Kinesiology \u2013 Exercise & Sports Studies Concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarleton State is developing similar agreements with other two-year colleges in the region, in concert with the President\u2019s Transfer Guaranteed Scholarship Program. Scholarships ranging from $250 to $2,000 per year are assured for students admitted from two-year colleges. Award amounts are enhanced for students graduating from one of Tarleton State\u2019s Distinguished College Partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
