STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Supporters of Tarleton State University can make a difference for every area of campus from March 31 to April 4 as part of Giving Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alumni, faculty, staff and friends may give to a favorite Tarleton State academic program, student activity, scholarship and more at www.givingweek.tarleton.edu\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following eight years of an annual Giving Day, this is the second time that the university has held a Giving Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, nearly 450 donors gave over 625 gifts totaling approximately $290,000. A great success under the new format, Giving Week saw a 37.8% in total dollars raised and a 50% increase in first-time donors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cUnder the leadership of President James and First Lady Kindall Hurley, Tarleton State University\u2019s footprint of access, opportunity and affordability has grown both qualitatively and quantitatively,\u201d said Tony Vidmar, Vice President for Advancement and Executive Director of the Tarleton State University Foundation. \u201cBuilding on 125 years of tradition, excellence, and relentless grit and determination, Tarleton State is now recognized as one of the fastest growing and most dynamic universities in the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBut, just as a growing and thriving child has constant resource needs, so does a growing prominent university. As such, we are proud to present a week of emphasis and opportunity for our alumni and friends to invest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Donations can also be made in person from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday in the Administration Building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All Giving Week donations that meet the Texan Excellence Fund (TEF) criteria will count as TEF contributions. For more information on the comprehensive annual giving program, including guidelines for giving and donor benefits, visit www.tarleton.edu\/texanexcellence<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
