<\/figure>\n\n\n\n\u201cHe teaches theater, but I learned in the fall that he also enjoys painting,\u201d said Jason Jacks, Manager of the Tarleton State Planetarium. \u201cHe approached me about putting together a modest exhibit, and after seeing several of his pieces, I jumped at the offer.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Besides the exhibition, a public reception and planetarium presentation in which several of Stone\u2019s works will be displayed on the planetarium dome screen, is planned for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cDan\u2019s a Navy veteran whose inspiration for these paintings comes from his stargazing days as a country boy from Mineral Wells and being on a ship in the pitch darkness of the world\u2019s oceans,\u201d said Jacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The exhibition, reception and planetarium presentation are open and free to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
