STEPHENVILLE, Texas\u00a0\u2014\u00a0<\/strong>Tarleton State University\u2019s Dr. Sam Pack College of Business has announced a milestone achievement: graduates of its Master of Accounting program achieved an impressive 59% pass rate on first-time attempts for the 2023 Uniform CPA Exam.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis outstanding achievement showcases the dedication and talent of our students as well as the expertise and support of our faculty,\u201d said Dr. Keldon Bauer, Interim Dean of the Dr. Sam Pack College of Business. \u201cTheir success on the CPA exam is a reflection of the high standards we hold and the incredible potential of our graduates to make a meaningful impact in the accounting profession.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to data from the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), this performance places Tarleton State among the top six of Texas\u2019 28 public universities for CPA exam success, underscoring the college\u2019s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and professional preparation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis accomplishment highlights the hard work and preparation of our students, paired with the dedication of our faculty to deliver an education that bridges theory with real-world practice,\u201d added Dr. Jim Goodpasture, Interim Department Head of Accounting, Finance and Economics. \u201cWe are proud to see our graduates performing so well, knowing they are prepared to thrive as future leaders in the accounting field.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
