STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University\u2019s International Artificial Intelligence and Communication Institute (IAICI) will offer a free short course focused on artificial intelligence Nov. 11-14 over Zoom. The course begins at 12:15 p.m. daily and is free and open to the Tarleton State community and the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course is designed to clear up common misconceptions and equip participants with a solid understanding of artificial intelligence. Each day is focused on a different misconception associated with AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course will be taught by undergraduate students, graduate students and communication studies faculty. Registration is limited to the first 25 registrants. Each day will feature an article, video, discussion and an AI demonstration of a new technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIAICI has completely changed my perspective on AI,\u201d said Alba Zarate, a recent Tarleton State graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Attendees will receive an “AI and the Workplace” participation certificate worth eight hours of training after the event.
