STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University\u2019s Department of Performing Arts, in collaboration with the Cross Timbers Civic Chorale and the Tarleton Masterworks Orchestra, will present the 45th annual Charles and Cynthia Rives Masterworks Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The concert will feature Mendelssohn’s cantata titled “Vom Himmel hoch” in German or “From Heav’n on High” in English, in addition to seasonal favorites such as John Rutter’s arrangement of “Joy to the World,” Elaine Hagenberg’s setting of “The Sussex Carol” and Handel’s beloved and majestic “Hallelujah Chorus.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
