STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 The Tarleton State University Departments of Performing Arts and Visual Arts and Design will present the annual ULTRA Club Dinner and Show Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Theater. ULTRA Club members are invited for food and drinks at 5:30 p.m., followed by the Wind Ensemble concert \u201cA Renaissance Evening\u201d\u00a0at 7:30 p.m.\u00a0
The concert is the first of the year\u2019s student performances and features contemporary music for band inspired by the Renaissance period, including\u00a0a transcription of the major orchestra work \u201cThe Pines of Rome\u201d by Ottorino Respighi, standard of the band repertoire \u201cFirst Suite in E-flat\u201d by Gustav Holst, \u201cCanzona\u201d by Peter Mennin, \u201cCathedrals\u201d by Kathryn Salfelder and \u201cIntroit\u201d by Fisher Tull.
Included in the evening is the opportunity to view the gallery exhibition\u00a0\u201cYou Threaded in Me,\u201d by Morgan Ford Willingham, a photographic artist from Waco.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
