STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University will host \u201cNoble Land Essentials,\u201d a specialized land management seminar, May 16-17 in the Agriculture Mechanics Building, Room 119.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Noble Research Institute, a nonprofit agricultural research organization, will present the course, which addresses techniques for improving ranchland productivity, including increasing soil fertility, water infiltration and holding capacity. The producer-focused program will also cover financial aspects like reducing unnecessary expenses and improving profits per acre. Experts will talk about how adopting the six principles of soil health can reduce the need for costly inputs like synthetic fertilizers and pesticides and how to measure the impact of regenerative practices to make data-driven decisions that benefit the ranch from the ground up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
