STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 One of the fastest-growing regional universities in the country and Texas\u2019 only public multicampus technical college have cemented an agreement as part of an initiative to boost educational opportunities for transfer students who graduate from two-year schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of its Distinguished College Partnership, Tarleton State University will provide annual $500-$2,500 scholarships to Texas State Technical College transfer students with a minimum 2.0 GPA. Awards will be divided between fall and spring semesters based on enrollment and will be renewable up to three years with satisfactory academic progress. Application fees will be waived for those with demonstrated need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The multimillion-dollar investment aligns with the 125-year vision of Tarleton State\u2019s founder to provide a high-quality university education to students who otherwise might not have the chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
