As Dean of Tarleton\u2019s 80-acre location on Chisholm Trail Parkway, Dr. Capua works with North Central Texas business and industry leaders, university faculty and staff, and community and educational partners to expand existing degree options and add new, market-responsive programs. She provides leadership for the opening of the Interprofessional Education Building, a 102,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility set to open in fall 2024. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Vice President for External Operations, she is responsible for Tarleton\u2019s Online Campus and outreach locations at McLennan Community College in Waco and Texas A&M-RELLIS in Bryan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt is a sincere honor to be recognized as a Latino leader in our community alongside the many trailblazers positively impacting areas such as entrepreneurship, nonprofit, education, healthcare and media,\u201d Dr. Capua said. \u201cAs Tarleton State nears its Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) designation, it brings great joy to be part of this university and our city.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before joining Tarleton State in March 2023, she helped launch the Tarrant To & Through (T3) Partnership as its founding Director of College and Career Success. Prior to that, she served as the first Manager of Internal Communications for the Tarrant County College Chancellor\u2019s Office and in the Division of Student Affairs at Texas Christian University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
