STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University\u2019s W.K. Gordon Center will present the Cary Grant classic film Topper<\/em> at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, as part of the Night at the Opera House series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Topper,” made in 1937, will be screened Aug. 12 at the W.K. Gordon Center as part of the Night at the Opera House series.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The 1937 supernatural comedy is directed by Norman Z. McLeod and features Constance Bennett. A huge hit with audiences in summer 1937, the family-friendly movie tells of a stuffy, stuck-in-his-ways man haunted by the ghosts of a fun-loving married couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The W.K. Gordon Museum and Research Center, a facility of Tarleton State University, is at 65258 Interstate 20, Exit 367, in Mingus and is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
