STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 A pair of Tarleton State University rodeo athletes were in action Sunday on the opening day of the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Saddle bronc rider Gus Gaillard posted a 78.5 for eighth place in the first round, and Tayler Felton\u2019s 2.9-second time in breakaway roping put her 16th<\/sup>, half a second off the leaders in the first go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tarleton is well-represented in today\u2019s schedule as Gaillard makes his second ride, tie-down roper Wyatt Crandall goes for his first calf, and team ropers Wyatt Bray and Korbin Rice make their initial runs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n On the women\u2019s side, barrel racers Acey Pinkston and Jordan Driver saddle up today for their first rides.
