{"id":48752,"date":"2023-04-17T08:38:25","date_gmt":"2023-04-17T13:38:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/news\/?p=48752"},"modified":"2023-04-17T11:10:03","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T16:10:03","slug":"tarleton-educator-preparation-program-receives-tea-commendations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tarleton.edu\/news\/tarleton-educator-preparation-program-receives-tea-commendations\/","title":{"rendered":"Tarleton Educator Preparation Program Receives TEA Commendations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014<em>&nbsp;<\/em>The Texas Education Agency has commended Tarleton State University\u2019s Educator Preparation Program (EPP) for recruiting, preparing and supporting the certification of teachers in two areas: rural schools and career and technical education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe collective hard work of our students, faculty and staff is responsible for these recognitions,\u201d said Dr. Kim Rynearson, Dean of the College of Education. \u201cWe have dedicated faculty and staff across every college who work to prepare Tarleton students to become the most talented educators for the children of Texas.
