STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 \u201cTexas Spurs and the Artists Who Created Them,\u201d previously on exhibit at Tarleton State University\u2019s W.K. Gordon Center for the Industrial History of Texas, is on the road to the Bosque Arts Center in Clifton. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The historical spur component of the exhibit will show through April 30, and modern spurs will be on display throughout May, with a reception and presentation featuring spur maker Wilson Capron at 6:30 p.m. May 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hugh Edmondson Collection of spurs and bits contains spurs made by more than 20 craftsmen over 120 years. It showcases a variety of materials, finishes, designs, sizes and shapes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Tarleton alumnus, Edmondson recently donated his collection to the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bosque Arts Center hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
