STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Four Tarleton State University vocal students distinguished themselves at the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition last weekend at Texas A&M-Commerce.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robin Flatt took second place in the fourth\/fifth-year treble category, Kylee Russell earned a third place among second-year trebles, Regina White finished fifth as a third-year treble, and first-year tenor\/baritone\/bass Peyton Stevens was an honorable mention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One hundred ninety-three competitors made up the field, including singers from the University of North Texas, Texas Christian University, Collin College, Texas A&M-Commerce and Weatherford College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each vocalist sang for three judges. Those scoring 90 or above from each judge advanced to the final rounds.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
