STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Following a national search, Zach Gorman, EdD, has been named Tarleton State University CIO and Assistant Vice President for Information Technology Services, effective Jan. 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Gorman will guide Tarleton\u2019s IT program, accountable for information management, computing, communications, infrastructure, service and support, and applications operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He joins Tarleton after five years as CIO at Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., where he championed data-driven decision-making and expanded research and academic programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDr. Gorman\u2019s experience will advance Tarleton\u2019s IT infrastructure to support research, innovative technology and digital solutions for students and employees,\u201d said Lori Beaty, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration. \u201cHis commitment to exemplary service and innovation make him a perfect fit.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to joining Bradley, Dr. Gorman served as IT Director at Georgia Tech, Associate CIO at Augusta University and IT Manager at the University of Iowa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
