STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University has been awarded a $36,943 planning grant from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Governor\u2019s Emergency Education Relief Fund to support student success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The grant helps institutions develop or expand initiatives that impact access to and completion of workforce transitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tarleton\u2019s grant program, titled \u201cDeveloping University Infrastructure to Increase the Use of Open Educational Resources and Affordable Course Materials,\u201d ties into Goal II, Strategy II-A of the Tarleton Forward 2030 strategic plan to have at least 90 percent of lecture\/lab courses utilize Open Educational Resources (OERs) by 2025. Aimee Shouse, Associate Provost and Associate Vice President for Curriculum and Faculty Affairs, is principal investigator, with Dean of Libraries Katherine Quinnell and Lesley Leach, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Development, serving as co-PIs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
