STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University\u2019s Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Sigma Omicron Chapter has been recognized as the third-largest-growing chapter in the region by the West Texas State Director of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On campus since 1994, the Sigma Omicron Chapter is the only National Pan-Hellenic Council sorority at Tarleton. Its principles are founded on scholarship, service, sisterhood and finer womanhood. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI am truly honored with the recognition my chapter has received from the West Texas State Director,\u201d said chapter President Michaela Dennis, a junior communication studies major. \u201cOur chapter is small but mighty. We will continue to live out the values of our organization.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chapter has seven members and has its sights set on intentional growth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is a wonderful accomplishment for our students,\u201d said Darrell Brown, Executive Director of the Tarleton Center for Leadership, Service and Outreach. \u201cZeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., provides valuable experiences to our students and is an asset to the university.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
