STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 With Tarleton\u2019s annual Homecoming celebration just a couple of months away, planning for the bonfire has already begun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Local residents clearing brush may bring it to the Tarleton Agricultural Center from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, July 16 and Aug. 20. More than 200 man-hours will be spent stacking over 10,000 wooden pallets and brush to create the blaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The L.V. Risinger Memorial Bonfire is set for Friday, Oct. 28, capping a week of activities and leading to the Saturday football matchup with the University of the Incarnate Word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
