STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Beginning fall 2022, students transferring to Tarleton State University from another college or university will be guaranteed $500-$1,000 scholarships annually. Students must have at least 30 credit hours and a college GPA between 2.0 and 3.0 to qualify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amounts for those with a GPA higher than 3.0 will increase to $1,000-$2,000 from original awards of $500-$1,500 unveiled in 2020 as part of the President\u2019s Guaranteed Transfer Scholarship Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students transferring from one of the university\u2019s nine Distinguished College Partners will receive an additional $500, and Tarleton will continue to adjust awards proportionally for qualifying transfer students who enroll at least half time (50-75 percent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The multimillion-dollar enhancement to the scholarship program aligns with the 123-year vision of Tarleton\u2019s founder to provide a high-quality, affordable education to students who otherwise might not have the chance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distinguished College Partners are Blinn College, Cisco College, Dallas College, Hill College, McLennan Community College, Navarro College, Ranger College, the Tarrant County College District and Weatherford College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Admitted transfer students must submit a general scholarship application to determine eligibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
