Wells Fine Arts Center Theater.&nbsp;Admission is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. J. Bradley Baker, assistant professor of collaborative piano, will accompany Dr. Asakura. Soprano Dr. Heather Hawk, associate professor of voice, will join Dr. Asakura, a baritone, for a duet of Rossini\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Barbiere di Siviglia<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several works \u2014 by Mozart,&nbsp;<em>Rivolgete a lui lo sguardo<\/em>, an aria from&nbsp;<em>Cosi fan tutte<\/em>; Schubert,&nbsp;<em>Heidenroslein<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Erlkonig<\/em>; Verdi,&nbsp;<em>Per me giunto<\/em>, an aria from&nbsp;<em>Don Carlo<\/em>; Handel,&nbsp;<em>Why do the nations<\/em>&nbsp;from his oratorio&nbsp;<em>Messiah<\/em>; and Brahms,&nbsp;<em>Vier ernste Gesange<\/em>&nbsp;(Four Serious Songs), based on Ecclesiastes and the First Epistle to the Corinthians \u2014 also will be featured.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tarleton State University vocal professor Dr. Iwao Asakura will give a faculty recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17, in the Clyde H.
