Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s festival, billed as the biggest ever, features 35 bands and 600 musicians and has been expanded to include high school student performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blending creativity and the performing precision drawn from her academic and stage experience, Fuller is a force in the jazz world. She was selected for the all-female band touring with Grammy winner Beyonc\u00e9, and she was the saxophone \u201cvoice\u201d of Dorothea Williams in the Disney\/Pixar movie&nbsp;<em>Soul<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuller will perform at 7 p.m. Friday with the Tarleton jazz faculty and at 7 p.m. Saturday with the Tarleton Jazz Ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also will&nbsp;present two clinics, \u201cHistory of Women in Jazz: From Early 1900\u2019s to Beyonc\u00e9\u201d at 3 p.m. Friday and \u201cFrom Beyonc\u00e9 and Beyond: Music Business, Performance and Leadership\u201d at 1 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information contact jazz studies director Dr. Andrew Stonerock at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:stonerock@tarleton.edu\">stonerock@tarleton.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grammy-nominated saxophonist Tia Fuller will headline the 60th annual Tarleton Jazz Festival, April 29-30 at the Clyde H.
