STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Tarleton State University\u2019s Educator Preparation Program (EPP) has been awarded a commendation from the Texas Education Agency for recruiting, preparing and supporting the certification of teachers in content-short areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tarleton was honored for its work in preparing students seeking Bilingual\/English as a Second Language (ESL) and Career and Technical Education certifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cA lot of hard work goes into training teachers, not just on the part of the students, but on the part of their instructors,\u201d said Dr. Josh Jones, Director of Educator Preparation Services at Tarleton. \u201cIt is very satisfying to see that we\u2019re not just recognized at a local level for the training of our teachers, but statewide as well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
