Wells Fine Arts Center Auditorium in Stephenville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tarleton University Band, under the direction of Director of Bands Dr. David Robinson, will spotlight student guest conductors Tyler Lewis, Matt Edwards, Nefi Mayorga and Doug Macchietto.&nbsp;The program includes \u201cShortcut Home\u201d by Dana Wilson, \u201cShadow Rituals\u201d by Michael Markowski, \u201cOn a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss\u201d by David Holsinger and \u201cAmparito Roca\u201d by Jaime Texidor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tarleton Symphonic Band, led by Associate Director of Bands Dr. Gary Westbrook, will present its spring 2022 program \u2014 \u201cHope\u201d \u2014 featuring the consortium premiere of \u201c(not) Alone\u201d by Randall Standridge.&nbsp;A consortium of schools commissioned the piece in March. This is one of its first performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Symphonic Band also will perform \u201cFantasia in G\u201d by Timothy Mahr, \u201cSong of Hope\u201d by Peter Meechan, \u201cOnly Light\u201d by Aaron Perrine and \u201cShimmering Sunshine\u201d by Kevin Day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Tarleton University Band and Symphonic Band present their free spring concerts beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in the Clyde H.
