STEPHENVILLE, Texas \u2014 Nearly two dozen members of Tarleton State University\u2019s faculty and guest clinicians will be on hand for Saturday\u2019s Brass, Woodwind and Percussion Day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Admission is free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
High school and college musicians will collaborate in a concentrated environment that allows for advanced study. Musicians at all levels are invited for masterclasses on each instrument and performances by guest artists, Tarleton faculty and Tarleton student ensembles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Featured guest artists include Bethany Padget on flute; Elias Rodriguez on clarinet; Nathan Nash on saxophone; Mark Schumpert on trumpet; Katy Ambrose on horn; Matthew Kundler on euphonium; Chris Sharpe on trombone; Vuri Bland on tuba; Todd Meehan on percussion; and collaborative pianist Syuzanna Kaszo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nine Tarleton instructors will participate \u2014 Brian Walker on trumpet; Kim Hagelstein on horn; Zach Marley on trombone and euphonium; Paul Birk on trombone; Floyd Richmond on tuba; Carolyn Keyes on flute; Dmitry Perevertailenko on clarinet; Andrew Stonerock on saxophone; and Ben Charles on percussion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
