FORT WORTH, Texas\u2014Natasha Hill, outreach, marketing, web and new-media communications manager for Tarleton State University, has been named to the board of directors for Girls Inc. of Tarrant County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are so pleased to have Natasha join us and are confident she will be a great asset as we strategically work together to achieve our mission and provide opportunities for more girls to become next-generation leaders,\u201d said Jennifer Limas, president and CEO of Girls Inc. of Tarrant County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Girls Inc. of Tarrant County inspires all girls to be strong, smart and bold through life-changing programs and experiences that help them navigate gender, economic and social barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research-based curricula\u2014delivered by trained, mentoring professionals in a positive all-girl environment\u2014equip girls to achieve academically; lead healthy and physically active lives; manage money; navigate media messages; and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering and math. Started in 1976 as the Arlington Girls Club, the organization helps more than 11,000 girls annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m honored to serve Girls Inc. of Tarrant County and the local community,\u201d Hill said. \u201cI am eager to lend my support and look forward to contributing my skills and knowledge to the success of Girls Inc.\u2019s mission, vision and aspirations.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hill joined Tarleton in 2013 and is responsible for the outreach marketing initiatives, community engagement and sponsorships, and web at the Fort Worth, Waco, Midlothian and Global (online) campuses. In addition to serving on committees for several local organizations, she is involved with MHMR of Tarrant County. She earned a bachelor\u2019s in marketing from the University of Maryland and a MBA from Tarleton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
