<\/span>FORT WORTH, Texas—Tarleton State University-Fort Worth’s student chapter of American Association of University Women (AAUW) hosts “Women in Leadership: Paths to Success” Saturday, Nov. 19, featuring five local leaders who will share their journey to the top.<\/p>\n

The panel discussion takes place from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the Hickman Building, 6777 Camp Bowie Drive. The event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

Panelists are:<\/p>\n

• Anette Soto<\/strong>, project manager, Office of the Inspector General at the U.S. Department of Transportation;
• Erika Beltran<\/strong>, trustee, State Board of Education District 13;
• Reggie Kemp<\/strong>, CEO and president, Kemp and Sons General Services;
• Leslie Oliver<\/strong>, CEO and president, Fort Worth Public Library Foundation; and
• LaToya Stewart<\/strong>, vice president of community development, Tarrant County United Way.<\/p>\n

In its first year, AAUW Tarleton-Fort Worth advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and philanthropy. Chapter officers are Amara Oji, president; Monica Medina, vice president; Deya Cabanas, treasurer; and Sara Crowley, fundraising chair.<\/p>\n
