No pre-registration is required.

The class takes place in Room 102 of the Dr. Lamar Johanson Science Building on the Tarleton campus. No advance registration is required.

Since SKYWARN® started in the 1970s, information provided by storm spotters—coupled with Doppler radar technology, improved satellite and other data—has enabled the NWS to issue more timely and accurate warnings for tornadoes, severe thunderstorms and flash floods.

For more information, visit the Fort Worth NWS Office homepage at http://www.srh.noaa.gov/fwd/.

Tarleton, a member of The Texas A&M University System, provides a student-focused, value-driven educational experience marked by academic innovation and exemplary service, and dedicated to transforming students into tomorrow’s professional leaders.
