STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Pay it forward for students in Tarleton State University’s second Day of Giving. The 24-hour online giving event begins at 12:01 a.m. tomorrow, April 4.<\/p>\n
Day of Giving is part of a full week of activities dedicated to the university’s core value of service.<\/p>\n
Gifts are tax deductible and can be designated for any Tarleton college, program or organization. There is no minimum donation.<\/p>\n
Donations can be made online from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. or in person from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Barry B. Thompson Student Center on the Stephenville campus and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Alumni House. Donations also can be dropped off at Tarleton’s outreach locations in Fort Worth, Midlothian and Waco.<\/p>\n
To give online, go to www.tarleton.edu\/givingday\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n In concert with this year’s Day of Giving, the Tarleton Alumni Association is offering a 19.17 percent discount on new or renewing memberships. The discount will support the Tarleton Alumni Scholarship fund and count toward total Day of Giving donations.
